University of Kara – Togo

The University of Kara construction project is based on a public-private partnership. An agreement was signed in 2022 between the Togolese government and Envol Partenariats Togo, covering the financing, construction, maintenance and equipment of the university. Envol Partenariats Togo is an offshoot of the Envol Immobilier Sénégal group.

This ambitious new project consists of the construction of the first phase of a university program for 30,000 students, spread over 4 phases, and will eventually include the integration of 9 faculties, the presidency, the central library, a university hospital, a teachers' hotel, university residences for 10,000 beds, as well as administrative, sports and leisure facilities. The project is financed by Coris Bank Togo.
