Mr. Tall was an eminent Director of Operations at World Bank. After spending over 25 years in this institution, he established a strategy consultancy firm, specialized in the design of major development projects and investment operations in Africa, particularly in the area of Public Private Partnerships (PPP).
Mr. Tall’s customers feature several high-ranking authorities, governments, regional and sub-regional institutions, West African Development Bank (BOAD), Islamic Development Bank (IDB), BADEA, AHIF, HEC Paris, and several private companies.
Mr. Tall’s name is associated closely with Côte d’Ivoire’s recent economic recovery trend, for his personal leadership and his commitment after the crisis. He is, among other things, currently heading a multidisciplinary working group to promote solutions for financing SMEs and to develop financial markets in West Africa.
In 2003, he received the World Bank’s prestigious “Manager of the Year” Award. He is also a holder of several other honorary distinctions in Africa, Europe and the United States.
Mr. Tall was trained in the United States as an agricultural and natural resource economist. He graduated from the State Universities of Maryland and West Virginia.
