University of San-Pedro, Ivory Coast

The city of San Pedro, because of its port activities, its cocoa industry, the exploitation of wood and the factories operating in the flour and cement industries, is the second economic center of Côte d'Ivoire.

Located on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean on the southwest coast, San Pedro is 350 km from Abidjan and has an airport that places it just under an hour's flight from Abidjan. Because of its importance in the economic development of the country, and the will of the State to include the education/training sector as one of its priorities, the city of San Pedro was chosen to host a higher education establishment of new generation.
